BUCK Knives - why is this brand the quintessential "made in USA" knife? We have often asked people who are unfamiliar with the cutlery industry if they could name an American brand; most of the time we heard: "BUCK"!

How and why does this brand, more than any other, symbolize America?

For several reasons, of course. Starting with the fact that it is more than 100 years old, since it was founded in 1902! So when you have been making knives for more than 4 generations, chances are that one of your products will end up in the pocket of a Swiss grandfather, who will give it to his grandson.

Then, because many of their knives "sweat" the great outdoors and the "Far West"! Take the mythical BUCK 110, BUCK 119, BUCK 124, and so many others... They look like they came straight out of a Western movie! Just holding them in your hand, you have the impression of hearing the Golden Pass whistle three times, and of seeing a Grizzly strolling on the plain of the Grütli.
