Born from the tradition and know-how of the high cutlery industry, TB Outdoor has been manufacturing its knives in Thiers, France since 1648.

In 1996, TB Outdoor began a rich collaboration with the French army in order to design knives and multi-function knives for military use. The first knife produced to meet these requirements was the Bivouac knife.

This legendary field knife was part of the soldier's kit from 1996 to 2001 for the French army troops.

The Baroudeur knife will replace the Bivouac knife for a period of 16 years until 2017.

In 2018, the C.A.C (Combat Assistance Campaign) knife developed in partnership with the military expert Philippe PEROTTI will take over from the BAROUDEUR knife. The TB outdoor brand has been selected by the Ministry of Defense to provide the French Army with its new campaign knife. This closing knife is equipped with a robust and reliable mechanism in all circumstances. Each part benefits from all the contributions of the current technology. There is no doubt that the CAC knife will be a milestone in the long history of knives that have equipped French soldiers.
