What are the delivery times?
For Switzerland, packages are generally dispatched within 7 working days of receipt of payment. Please note, however, that this may take longer. As cutlery is a highly regulated business, our imports are regularly subject to customs controls in accordance with the Law on Arms (LArm, 1997). These controls can slow down the delivery of orders to our customers.
For foreign orders, the processing time is the same. However, shipping abroad means that the post offices of the destination countries have to take charge of the shipment, and delivery times can vary considerably. As a result, we cannot guarantee delivery within 7 days.
What are the delivery costs?
For Switzerland, a flat-rate delivery charge of CHF 7.00 applies to all orders under CHF 300.00. Tellknives reserves the right to choose the most appropriate method of shipment, depending on content, value, size and temporary or permanent logistical constraints. Orders of CHF 300 or more are shipped free of charge.
We recommend that you combine all your items into a single order. This will enable you to benefit from free delivery within Switzerland. If you place two separate orders, there is no guarantee that we will be able to combine them, so shipping charges will apply to each of them.
For foreign orders, shipping costs are calculated on a case-by-case basis, according to the weight and volume of the order. There is no threshold for free shipping abroad.
How do you ship my parcel?
For shipments in Switzerland and abroad, all parcels are sent via our partner La Poste CH. They are all sent with a tracking number.
How do I know if my order has been shipped?
When your order is dispatched, the tracking number of your parcel will automatically be sent to you by email. It can sometimes take 24 hours from the time your order is placed to the time it is picked up by La Poste CH. We recommend that you wait 24 hours before consulting your tracking number.
How will my order be packaged?
We strive to reduce our impact on the environment, which is why it's not uncommon for us to reuse shipping materials in good condition to ship your order. On the other hand, we make no concessions when it comes to the quality of our packaging: parcels shipped by our company are always perfectly packed to withstand any shocks that may occur during shipment. Boxes are appropriately sized, and your items are properly protected.
Should your order arrive damaged, please do not open it and keep it as is. Simply contact us and we will arrange for compensation. Please note that no compensation can be considered if you do not have all the original packaging and the damaged product.
Is VAT added to the price of items ordered on Tellknives?
For orders from Switzerland:
The prices shown on our shop are inclusive of all taxes. VAT is therefore included in the total amount of your order.
For orders from abroad:
The prices shown on our online shop are exclusive of VAT. The VAT of your country of residence applies and is added to the total amount of your order.
