The WE Knife Gunwale is an impressive, high-end folding knife, presented here in a spectacular Blue Terrain version, produced in a limited edition of just 210 numbered pieces.
Its handle, made entirely from 6AL4V titanium, features a particularly original Blue Terrain textured finish, complemented by copper inserts that add an extra touch of contrast. A complex and meticulously crafted piece, typical of WE Knife’s high-end productions.
The 98 mm Tanto blade is made from Böhler M390, a premium steel offering an excellent combination of edge retention, wear resistance and corrosion resistance. It features a particularly intricate grind, combining a concave grind along the main part of the cutting edge with a flat grind towards the tip. The finish combines hand-polished satin surfaces with stonewashed sections.
The flip-open mechanism is mounted on ceramic ball bearings, ensuring a particularly smooth and rapid action. The lock is provided by a robust Frame Lock integrated into the titanium handle.
With a total length of 223 mm, a blade measuring nearly 10 cm and a weight of 155 grams, the Gunwale fully embodies its character: a large, modern folding knife that is powerful and particularly spectacular, halfway between a high-end EDC knife and a collector’s item.
This edition is limited to 210 pieces worldwide, each bearing its own serial number and supplied with a signed certificate of authenticity.
