The CJRB Latitude J1975-BK EDC folding knife is the most understated version of the Latitude range, featuring a black G10 handle paired with a stonewashed blade. A classic choice for a good-sized EDC knife, but one equipped with a significantly more modern locking mechanism.
Its 8.8 cm Drop Point blade is made from AR-RPM9, CJRB/Artisan Cutlery’s proprietary steel. With a stated hardness of 59–61 HRC and a flat grind, it offers a good balance between cutting performance, corrosion resistance and ease of maintenance.
The Latitude’s main technical feature is its Top Liner Lock. Positioned on the upper part of the handle, the mechanism allows the blade to be unlocked without placing your fingers directly in its path when closing the knife.
The knife opens via a thumb stud, with a pivot mounted on ceramic ball bearings to ensure smooth operation. The black G10 handle, meanwhile, favours a simple and functional design.
With an 8.8 cm blade and a total length of 20.3 cm, the Latitude is positioned as a full-size EDC folding knife, substantial enough to offer a comfortable grip without becoming excessively bulky.
