More understated than the bronze version, the Reveille WE23057-2 features an Olive Grey colour scheme that is particularly in keeping with its military inspiration. This understated shade allows the numerous machined details on the handle to stand out without making the overall design overly ostentatious.

The concentric grooves surrounding the pivot are reminiscent of the wheels and tracks of an armoured vehicle. Beyond this aesthetic reference, they add texture to the 6Al4V titanium handle and reinforce the Reveille’s instantly recognisable identity.

Its drop-point blade, forged from Böhler M390, combines a ‘Gray Stonewash’ finish with satin-finished flat sections. This two-tone finish emphasises its geometry whilst making the stonewashed surfaces less prone to showing signs of wear. The flat grind and relatively conventional tip give it considerable versatility for a knife of this size.

The blade can be deployed either via the elongated hole or the thumb stud. Encapsulated ceramic ball bearings facilitate the blade’s movement, which is then secured by a frame lock integrated into the handle.

Tellknives review:
This Olive Grey version is undoubtedly the most natural choice for actually using the Reveille. Its more neutral finish showcases the machined details of the titanium, whilst the Grey Stonewash finish will conceal minor marks better than the black finish of the WE23057-1. It retains the same mechanical character and exclusivity, but in a more understated design that is easier to carry on a daily basis.
