The Zero Tolerance 0316 returns to the rugged designs that have defined the brand’s identity; its generous handle, thick steel liners, and dark blade come together to form a folding knife with a distinctly utilitarian character, manufactured entirely in the United States.
The modified clip-point blade is made of CPM Cru-Wear, a powder-metal-based steel chosen for its toughness, edge retention, and ease of sharpening. A black PVD coating completes the design.
The black canvas Micarta scales are three-dimensionally machined to form a wraparound grip. They rest on thick liners that give the handle a solid foundation. The knife opens entirely by hand, using the KVT system with ceramic ball bearings.
The pivot features a practical design detail: it can be adjusted using a 3/16" wrench. A reversible clip allows you to choose which side to carry the knife on.

Tellknives Review:
We appreciate this return to a ZT that embraces a substantial build. The Micarta and thick liners fit well with this approach, while the Cru-Wear is an interesting choice for a knife intended for work. We’d recommend it to fans of sturdy folding knives who prefer a generous grip and functional materials.
