The Zero Tolerance 0545BWMC EDC folding knife combines the slim profile of the 0545 model with a dark, textured finish; its black Micarta front scale complements the blade’s BlackWash finish, creating a understated design whose subtle nuances are revealed in the light.
The CPM MagnaCut blade is just 2.3 mm thick and features a full-length flat grind. This geometry prioritizes cutting performance in a compact design. The BlackWash finish gives the black surface a weathered look and makes minor signs of wear less visually noticeable.
The blade opens manually via a flipper mechanism, featuring the KVT system with ball bearings and washers. The titanium backplate forms the framelock, complemented by a hardened steel contact insert.
An extra-deep, reversible clip allows the knife to be carried point-up, on the left, or on the right. Its concealed fasteners preserve the handle’s clean lines.

Tellknives Review:
We appreciate this version for the character of the Micarta, which lends a warmer feel to this very sleek design. The BlackWash finish (always beautiful on ZT knives) naturally complements this combination. We’d recommend it to a knife enthusiast looking for a discreet ZT to carry in their pocket, with a blade designed for everyday cutting and a look that’s less sleek than that of the carbon version.
