This version of the Civivi Ryson-E, the C25097-3, features a classic and inviting combination: a satin-finished blade and a green canvas Micarta handle. This configuration highlights Sam Tran’s design, particularly the distinctive step on the blade’s spine characteristic of the harpoon profile.
The 14C28N stainless steel blade features a hollow grind and a smooth cutting edge. It opens manually via a thumb stud, with a pivot mounted on caged ceramic ball bearings. The Liner Lock keeps the blade open.
The backspacer matches the green Micarta of the scales, while the stainless steel liners retain a gray finish. With a listed weight of 87 gr, this version is slightly lighter than the G10 versions.

Tellknives Review:
We particularly appreciate this combination for the character of the Micarta and the clarity of the satin finishes; it gives the Ryson-E a more traditional look, while retaining its bold blade design. We’d gladly recommend it to users looking for a simple everyday folding knife, with a preference for materials with natural textures.
