The Dawson Smuggler features a slender fixed-blade knife, compact enough to accompany you on both daily activities and outdoor adventures. This version combines the Arizona Copper finish with the Covenant handle, whose black and burgundy hues complement the copper tones of the blade.
Its CPM-3V blade features a drop-point profile and a hollow grind. The Arizona Copper finish blends bronze, gold, and copper tones in an irregular pattern, protected by a clear layer of Cerakote. The overall design retains a deliberately raw appearance, characteristic of this American-made knife.
The sculpted G10 scales feature raised contours that enhance the grip. The full-tang construction, index finger clearance, and support notches on the back of the blade round out this functional design. A Kydex sheath allows for horizontal or vertical carry.

Tellknives Review:
We particularly appreciate the combination of Covenant and Arizona Copper: the handle’s colors complement the blade’s character without overwhelming its design. The Smuggler thus retains a slim silhouette with a very distinct visual identity (!).
Its appeal, however, goes beyond just the finish; the size offers a useful cutting length while remaining reasonably portable, and the handle feels substantial enough to avoid the shortened grip sensation found in some smaller fixed-blade knives. We’re happy to recommend it to anyone looking to discover Dawson through a versatile model that’s easy to incorporate into their gear.
