Black Beard Fire Starter Stick – Impregnated cotton fire-starting cord

The Black Beard Fire Starter Stick is a supply of tinder that can be broken off as needed. This cotton cord, impregnated with a blend of waxes, allows you to prepare multiple kindling pieces by taking only a small portion each time.

It’s easy to use: cut off a piece, carefully separate the fibers, then light them with a fire source. The resulting flame then helps ignite the kindling. The manufacturer claims up to 50 fires per stick, depending on the amount used and the conditions encountered.

Designed to withstand water and wind, this consumable is a great addition to camping gear, a bushcraft kit, or near a wood stove. It complements a lighter, matches, or a ferrocerium rod by providing the fuel needed to get a fire started.

Tellknives Review:
We especially appreciate the ability to control the amount of tinder used. This format allows you to adjust the portion to your needs and save the rest for your next outing. We consider it a practical addition to a fire-starting kit. However, proper preparation of the fibers and kindling remains essential to get the most out of it in the field.
