This model, the TV-3, features the design that Master Hattori created (although others dispute his authorship) in the version dedicated to special forces undertaking aquatic missions, with a black Micarta handle and a stainless steel blade.

Building on the TV-3, SOG Knives commissioned Hattori to produce its famous S2, designed for the NAVY SEALS.
