Amongst the AL MAR combat knives, the Grunt I and II series is probably the most realistic and closest to field operations.
The AL MAR Grunt II 4021 knife, the big brother, is already an impressive combat knife because of its shape and size (19.7cm blade and 33cm total length!).
But in this commemorative version of the Desert Storm Operation which took place during the Iraq war, this AL MAR Grunt II DESERT STORM becomes mythical. Superb and terrifying, that's how to sum it up. Its weight, its exceptional ergonomics and its quality of manufacture (thank you and bravo to the Japanese craftsmen of SEKI) make it an exceptional model, even within the Al Mar Knives brand.
Its handle made of stacked and polished leather slices also meets the codes of the classic military knives. The brass guard and the stainless steel pommel complete the picture.
This knife is in a state of absolute perfection; there are no marks of rubbing or impact.
The edge is original and without any impact, the point is perfect, and the leather sheath also deserves a 10/10 rating.
A Vintage & Collector Al Mar fighting knife not to be missed, because in this condition, there are hardly any more.
