The death of the founder, the slow erosion of the patrimony and then the sale to Chinese hands finished off this jewel of the world cutlery industry.
The good news is that the value of the Al Mar Vintages is now only one way: up.

Full tang construction of 5mm AUS-6A stainless steel 22cm.
10.5cm blade with concave cutting edge.
Wooden handle plates.
Polished brass rivets.
Hole for the lanyard.
Original leather sheath with leather strap.

Only the first 200 of each model were numbered.

Al Mar is one of the most mythical brands in the world of cutlery. The degree of perfection is incredible for an industrial knife (everything is made in Japan by craftsmen working for the brand).
The scarcity of these pieces as well as the know-how to produce this degree of quality can only push the quotations up in the future.
