AL MAR - "Survivar" prototype
In its heyday (mid 80's - early 90's) the Al Mar brand, driven by the rise of high-end industrial cutlery, was full of projects including the production of a great survival knife.
A handful of prototypes were produced (less than 20, according to various sources) but the final version was revised downwards (production costs and sales price), sending these few steel monsters to the scrap heap...
Fortunately, some of them survived and we have the immense luck and honor to be able to offer you one of them!

This model with its unusual dimensions and incredible history is a Collector with a huge "C"!
We found it in Osaka.
