RANDALL MADE KNIVES

Model 1-6 stacked leather 

A mythical American brand created in 1938 (!) by Bo Randall, who was probably one of the most influential knifemakers of all time; judge for yourself:

many of his models have been used in every war, from WWII onwards, and the more historic the models, the higher their value!

NASA equipped astronauts with one of its models, developed precisely to this specification (model 17 ASTRO), and in 1961 it equipped the crew of the Mercury 7 mission, becoming the first knife in orbit.

The “Model 1” is possibly THE emblematic Randall model.

The best-known is the 1-7 (7 for 7 inches, of course), but the 1 also comes in 5-, 6- and 8-inch blades!

And even a Mini!

The “stacked leather” handle is part of the ultra-classic package.

Our opinion:

Randall is a must-have in any collection; this Model 1-6 is hyper coherent because it's more compact than the 1-7, rarer too, and ideally sized for all types of use.

And the quality of the workmanship makes it a superb addition to any collection, militaria or otherwise.
