RANDALL MADE KNIVES - Vintage 80ies Model 14 - 7.5 Attack full tang carbon steel black micarta handle nickel silver guard brown leather sheath
A legendary American brand created in 1938 (!) by Bo Randall, who was probably one of the most influential knifemakers of all time:
- many of his models have been used in every war since WWII, and the more historic the models, the higher their value!
- NASA equipped astronauts with one of its models, developed precisely to this specification (model 17 ASTRO), and in 1961 it equipped the crew of the Mercury 7 mission, becoming the first knife in orbit!
- there are 28 models in the catalogue, all of which can be customised
- the waiting time for an order is currently... 7 years... the price of excellence!
- As the list of distinctions and special features is still long, here's a link for the more curious.

This model is a 14 7.5 Attack, and here it's not in THE ultra-classic configuration it's known for, but almost: the only differences are the guard (here in forward curved double hilt) and the shape of the neck (here in bordel patrol).
The military-style result is as good as this splendid knife gets!
Technical features:
Full tang construction in 6mm thick forged carbon steel
19cm blade length
Sharpened counter-edge
Total knife length 32cm
Silver nickel double guard
Lanyard hole
Black micarta block handle
Brown leather sheath with belt loop and whetstone
Condition 9.5/10
Supplied in a black nylon case with zip fastening
Our verdict: Randall is a must-have in any collection. The Model 14 - 7.5 is one of the brand's iconic models, along with the Model 1, 17, & 18 (among others).
It looks stunning in this military configuration and is in near-perfect condition, given that it dates back to the 80s!
