KANSEPT Foosa EDC folding pocket knife. Total length of the closed knife 10.1cm. Blade length 7.6cm in stainless steel 154CM satin or black finish. Handle in G10, micarta or carbon fiber, depending on the version. Flipper function for one-handed opening. Available in version with linerlock, and in version without blade lock in open position (forced notch). Pocket clip. Black nylon pouch. The KANSEPT Foosa folding pocket knife is classy, minimalist in its design in the folded position, and very elegant with its blade extended. It is a knife that is not for everyone, but will appeal to lovers of clean style, while seeking excellence in materials. A great achievement by Rolf Helbig.
Like many young boys, Rolf Helbig had a pocket knife. In 1977, when he started his first job helping his father in the kitchen, his chef's knife was the most important tool. At that time, knife steels were changing and, with some research, Rolf discovered that metallurgy was a very interesting field, and he learned that a knife is not just a knife but a multipurpose tool.
He designed the Foosa and Weasel because he wanted to evoke a time when the knife was a simple and sensible cutting tool.
