Voici un couteau méconnu et pourtant classique de la marque Randall, en général configuré avec un manche en bois de cerf dans une orientation de travail et couteau EDC ; le Randall Cattleman / Yachtman.
Cet exemplaire a délaissé le traditionnel bois de cerf au profit d'un manche en micarta marron (magnifique !), entouré d'une garde et d'un "butt plate" en laiton en fin de manche, par soucis d'élégance mais également à des fins d'équilibre en main car cela ajoute un peu de poids à l'extrémité du manche.
En effet, le fait d'alourdir le bout du manche donne un meilleur ressenti en main, ce qui vient donc intelligemment compléter ce très beau couteau droit, à vocation de compagnon du quotidien (nous vous confirmons ici qu'il est très à l'aise en cuisine) !
