RANDALL MADE KNIVES

Randall Made Knives RKS3 fixed-blade hunting knife and camping knife, 1997, forged carbon steel blade, stag handle, brown leather sheath.

A legendary American brand founded in 1938 (!) by Bo Randall, who was arguably one of the most influential cutlers of all time.

The low-key RKSA (Randall Knife Society), founded in 1989, has from time to time (though rarely, in fact) produced very limited editions, reserved for members.
For its third edition, released in 1997, the RKSA presented a large hunting knife whose design is directly derived from the 50th-anniversary model, but on a scale reduced by approximately 20 per cent.
This beautiful blade, forged from carbon steel, is paired with a stag’s antler handle, a simple brass guard and multiple rings at the base of the handle, made from brass, black micarta and other synthetic liners.
The finishing touches are provided by a brass badge bearing the Randall Knife Society emblem, as well as a very fine brown leather sheath, designed specifically for this model.
An absolute aesthetic triumph!
Only 860 RKS3s were produced, all of which are numbered.
The first digit is the knife’s serial number; the second is the membership number of the person who commissioned it.

Our opinion:
Randall is a must-have for any collection; this fantastic 1997 Randall Made Knives RKS3 collector’s knife is, by its very nature, rare, having been produced in a limited edition of 860 pieces, and this particular example is exceptionally well-made.
Incidentally, this RANDALL RKS3 knife is versatile thanks to its medium size and excellent ergonomics.
And it will look absolutely stunning on display!

The quality of craftsmanship from RANDALL makes it a superb addition to any collection.
