Cutlery is second natureto him; you’ll never find him without at least one knife on him. Not even in a swimsuit. Matthias knows just about every product on the site (over 10,000 listed, after all...) and he’s living proof that when you love cutlery, you don’t hold back... His personal collection includes roughly 300 pieces (he’s lost count).
He loves: hunting down collector’s items from prestigious vintage brands such as Al Mar, SOG, Gerber Legendary Blades, Puma, Hattori, and Randall (this list is by no means exhaustive, of course). He also enjoys advising collectors and helping them choose which pieces to add to their collections and make wise investments.
He doesn’t like: Knives whose design hinders their use. A knife should be streamlined: “less is more”!
What he doesn’t tell you: His favorite knife is neon pink and costs less than a bag of peanuts!
