Unlike previous Maxpedition backpacks, the Tehama backpack uses molded-tooth zippers, manufactured with individually injected self-lubricating elements for low-maintenance, long-lasting use. Each backpack comes with a removable metal frame fitted with a user-fashionable aluminum stand for extra support. The frame and/or stand can be easily removed for significant weight reduction.
