With its new Elementum Maze Rock Grind, Civivi wanted the amber colour to immediately catch the eye… but the truly distinctive feature is found inside the handle. The translucent yellow Ultem scales of the CIVIVI Elementum Maze contain a CNC-machined labyrinth through which a small ceramic ball rolls. A second replacement ball is also included with the knife.

This original design complements a tried-and-tested mechanism. The Nitro-V stainless steel drop-point blade combines a satin finish with a very pronounced Rock-Grind profile on the sides. Its hollow ground edge provides a fine and efficient cut, well-suited to everyday use.

The blade is opened via a flip mechanism using caged ceramic ball bearings. The steel liner lock secures the blade, whilst the tip-up clip allows for discreet carrying in a pocket. Lightweight, compact and instantly recognisable, this Elementum combines genuine EDC efficiency with a playful character.

Tellknives review:
The Elementum no longer really needed to prove its worth as an EDC; CIVIVI can therefore afford to explore its creative and playful side. The contrast between the amber Ultem, the Rock-Grind blade and the small built-in maze gives this version far more personality than its classic dimensions would suggest. A knife that’s serious in its function, but doesn’t take itself too seriously.
