With its Latitude J1975-BBK folding knife, CJRB presents its new Full-Size EDC in an all-black, understated and functional design. The G10 handle features a textured CNC-machined finish, combined with a Black PVD-coated blade to create a particularly cohesive overall look.
The 8.8 cm Drop Point blade is forged from AR-RPM9, CJRB/Artisan Cutlery’s proprietary steel, with a stated hardness of 59–61 HRC. Its flat grind prioritises versatility, whilst the Black PVD coating gives this version its decidedly sombre character.
The Latitude features a Top Liner Lock, a locking mechanism accessible from the top of the handle. This design allows the blade to be released whilst keeping the fingers clear of its path during closure.
The knife opens quickly using the Thumb Stud, with a pivot mounted on ceramic ball bearings. The textured, CNC-machined black G10, meanwhile, offers more texture and grip than the more classic finish of the J1975-BK.
Measuring 20.3 cm when open and with an 8.8 cm blade, the Latitude retains a true full-size EDC format, whilst offering a particularly attractive technical package for its price point.
