This CIVIVI Kukei C25036-1 variant fully captures the original character of the small Kukei designed by Tashi Bharucha. Measuring just 7.3 cm when closed and featuring a 5.1 cm blade, this true micro-folder stands out thanks to a particularly striking combination: G10 Powder Pink and a Black Stonewashed blade.
The contrast works remarkably well; CIVIVI pairs the powder pink handle with black liners, screws and a black backspacer, creating continuity with the blade’s dark finish.

It’s hard to accuse the Kukei C25036-1 of lacking personality!
The powder pink colour could easily have turned this micro-knife into a mere novelty item. CIVIVI skilfully avoids this pitfall by consistently using black on the blade, liners, backspacer and screws. The result is far more striking than simply ‘pink’.
We find this design particularly well-suited to the Kukei. The knife is already unconventional in its dimensions, and there was ultimately no reason to try to make it conventional through its colour.
In terms of functionality, it shares the qualities of the other versions: weighing just 47.3 gr, a Nitro-V sheepsfoot blade, a front flipper and a mechanism fitted with ceramic bearings. Of course, one must bear its dimensions in mind: at just 7.3 cm when closed, the Kukei is truly a micro-folder.
