The Civivi Ryson-E C25097-DS1 EDC folding knife showcases the Damascus steel, featuring a black handle, backspacer, and liners. This understated design allows the blade’s patterns to complement the harpoon motif designed by Sam Tran.
The blade features a hollow grind and a smooth cutting edge. Its distinctive stepped spine gives this folding knife a bold identity, while the black canvas Micarta adds a subtle texture to the handle.
The knife opens entirely by hand using a thumb stud, on a pivot equipped with caged ceramic ball bearings. The Liner Lock keeps the blade open. A reversible clip completes the design, allowing the knife to be carried point-up, on the left, or on the right.

Tellknives Review:
We appreciate this version for the prominence given to the blade; the black handle provides a subtle frame around the Damascus steel without adding any color contrast. We’d recommend it to enthusiasts looking for a more decorative version of the Civivi Ryson-E, while retaining its everyday size and classic mechanics.
