SOG - Recon Bowie - Collection knife

SOG Knife - Recon Bowie - Collection knife

Faithful reproduction of a model that was produced and used by US special units during the Vietnam War, the RECON BOWIE from SOG is a major piece in any collection of fixed knives, especially military ones!

Superbly produced in Japan in the city of SEKI in the late 80's!

This knife belonged to a French soldier; it was his combat knife. He wore and used it in South America and Africa. He is now parting with it so that "the knife will find a collector who will appreciate it, rather than it gathering dust in my cellar" (dixit le Monsieur)!

Technically :

17.5cm stainless steel blade "blued" finish perhaps one of the most beautiful on the market, all models included!

Brass guard and pommel

Leather handle with white synthetic inserts

750.-

Our opinion:

A monument of cutlery in a field version, having been really used in a military context ... fabulous!
