SOG S1 Bowie II 2005 Special Edition fixed combat and survival knife.
The SOG S1 is a faithful commemorative replica of a legendary knife used by some American special units during the Vietnam War.
The SOG S1 was also the first model to be mass-produced by SOG, in 1986.
It has superb lines and an incredible finish.
The majority of SOG collectors consider this model to be the most emblematic of the brand and therefore a must-have.
This example is a 'modern' version dating from 2005; produced in Taiwan (and no longer in Japan), it bears specific markings and its black finish gives more of a lacquered effect, compared with the deep blue of the original SOG S1 5th.
The result is truly magnificent!
The original black leather case is in superb condition.
Specifications:
Overall length 28cm
16cm AUS-8 stainless steel blade with 13.8cm cutting edge, shiny black TiNi finish

Our opinion :
The SOG S1 Bowie is the ultimate combat knife: robust, reliable, streamlined and versatile, as well as being superb!
This 2005 Special Edition is very rare, in magnificent condition and will take pride of place in any collection!
