SOG AGENCY fixed combat knife
The story behind the original design of this knife is astonishing: the American special forces in Vietnam asked their headquarters for a blade larger than that of their ordinance knife (which gave rise to the SOG S1 in 1986).
One of the firms contacted was ... Randall in the USA!
Bo Randall designed a large, slender and relatively light combat knife, but it was not retained and the design fell into oblivion...
A few years later, Spencer Frazer, the founder of SOG, got his hands on the design again and in no time at all released the model in his range, calling it the 'Agency'!
So there's nothing new about design heists!
