Here, the Reveille takes on its design most directly inspired by military equipment. The Desert Terrain finish applied to the titanium handle echoes the shades and patterns of desert camouflage, whilst leaving the distinctive machined details around the pivot visible.

To complement this particularly striking handle, WE Knife has chosen an entirely dark blade. The bevels have been given a Black Stonewash finish, whilst the flat surfaces are black brushed. This combination highlights the geometry of the drop-point blade without introducing the bright contrast of the satin-finished surfaces found on the other two versions.

Böhler M390 steel ensures excellent edge retention and high corrosion resistance. The 4.0 mm thickness and flat grind give the Reveille a robust construction, suited to its size and utilitarian inspiration.

The oblong hole and thumb stud offer two options for one-handed opening. The pivot, fitted with encapsulated ceramic ball bearings, guarantees smooth operation, whilst the frame lock utilises one of the titanium handle spines directly to secure the blade.

This Desert Terrain version is produced in a limited run of 210 pieces. Each knife bears an individual serial number and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.

The WE23057-3 is the most visually striking Reveille model. Its Desert Terrain finish perfectly reinforces the model’s theme, whilst the all-black blade maintains a beautiful overall coherence. It may be less universally appealing than the Olive Grey version, but it stands out more on the shelf and has a more obvious collector’s appeal. For anyone looking for the version most faithful to the series’ military inspiration, this is undoubtedly the best choice.
