BlackJack Knives offers military knives, tactical knives and bowie blades.
Cutlery for military and tactical applications
In the beginning, the company was founded in Los Angeles to import and sell Chris Reeve's range of one-piece knives, while at the same time developing its own line of knives.
The first knife created by BlackJack Knives was the "Mamba". It was designed and marketed by Mike Stewart, and therefore did not belong to the Chris Reeve range.
The company ran into major difficulties and soon had to transfer its activities to Japan in order to survive. This enabled the company to extend its production line to Seki. Then to relaunch production in Effingham, Illinois.
Despite facing enormous competition in the international cutlery market, BlackJack Knives continued to specialize in the manufacture of high-tech belt knives, companion knives, tactical and military knives and bowie knives.
The term "Blackjack Sharp" has become a time-honored expression among knife enthusiasts, due to their razor-sharp convex edges.
