The Kizer Kiwami V3809SH1 tactical folding knife features a compact silhouette with a bold character. Designed by Konstantinos Paschalis, this folding knife combines a hawkbill blade with a sculpted black acrylic handle. Diagonal grooves and small indentations add texture to its surfaces while providing grip points for a secure hold.
The BD1N stainless steel blade features a black PVD coating and a flat grind. Its concave edge facilitates pulling cuts, with a folded tip characteristic of the hawkbill profile.
It opens manually via a front flipper. The Kiwami also stands out for its Liner Lock located on the top of the handle: the lock is released by pinching between the thumb and index finger, keeping the fingers clear of the blade’s closing path.
The openwork liners help keep the weight down to 67.2 gr. A deep, reversible clip completes this small folding knife designed for everyday use.

Tellknives Review:
We appreciate the Kiwami for its unusual design and the consistency of its all-black finish. The handle’s craftsmanship gives it a strong visual identity, while its size and weight remain modest.
Another appealing feature is the top-mounted locking mechanism, which offers a different handling experience than the traditional Liner Lock. We recommend it for enthusiasts of small, unique folding knives who value both the mechanism and the design.
