After 6 months of almost daily intensive use of the ZT0223 and having cut dozens of cardboard boxes into pieces, wood, rope, paper sheets, packaging, steaks, sausages (lots of sausages...), plastic, thin sheet metal, and many other things that I forget, the conclusion is the following:

The edge retention (edge life) is really impressive and is among the highest I have tested.

The sharpening ease is surprisingly very good as this steel is usually described as difficult to sharpen (NB: I never let the edge get totally dull).

Getting a razor sharp edge is easy.

Conclusion: this is one of the best steels I have ever used and I recommend it without reservation, in the "premium" category.
